The LORD God took the man and placed him in the garden of Eden to work it and watch over it. (2:15)
Man was placed in the garden of Eden to work and watch it… or serve and guard it… which is what the priests were told to do with the Tabernacle (Numbers 18:4,7 etc.). The local church, with a regenerate membership, has the same priestly responsibility ( 1 Corinthians 5:13).
