On Wednesday to Friday there’s a special focus on The Level – a park in central Brighton. So what’s been happening?
The mornings have still been set aside for prayer and equipping through the word. Seminars have grounded us in the gospel and helped us talk to people about Jesus from a variety of backgrounds.

Then in the afternoons we have all headed for The Level.

What did we do?
Our friends from Texas are running a free Sports Camp. 3 hours of baseball, kickball and other games. It’s been a lot of fun and parents have been happy to sit and chat with us while their youngsters have been using up lots of energy. Many have been surprised that this has all been free! Team members have been sharing their stories and about Jesus in the break times.

As we sat around at the crossroads of paths through the middle of the park, we also set up a table with Bibles and booklets available for passers by.

The rest of the team headed out with Faith Surveys, gospels and flyers. They found that many people sitting in the park were happy to go through the survey and discuss faith and Jesus. Julian spoke with one man from Japan who had never even heard of Jesus before. Gospels and invitations to find out more though the 321 Course have been handed out

The weather forecast was mixed but amazingly on both days so far, the rain has waited until we had packed up at 4pm!
Although the ministry at The Level has been more low key than the Street Preaching and Door to For work earlier on in the week, there is a sense that this has resulted in more conversations of depth with individuals.
Its good to try all sorts of things with the aim on sowing gospel seeds to a wide variety of people. Again, follow up will be crucial.

We’re heading out again in a bit. The team is visibly tired on this last day. May the Lord use us as his ambassadors.
